The TB2 has redesigned holds with more variety — better slopers, improved crimps and new pinch shapes — and a larger starting problem library compared to TB1.
Do I need the Tension Climbing app for the TB2?
Yes — the LED holds on the TB2 are controlled via the Tension Climbing app, which you pair to the board via Bluetooth. Without the app you can still climb on the holds but you won't see lit problem sequences.
